APC national leadership commends S/E APC governors for outstanding performance, vows to takeover Enugu, Abia – From Chinelo Ude/Enugu

The National leadership of All Progressive Congress Party (APC), has commended the APC Governors in the South-East region for their outstanding performance in infrastructural projects and development in their various states.

This is even as the ruling party at the centre has vowed to win Enugu and Abia states presently controlled by the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

The Deputy National Chairman of APC South region Emma Enukwu, made this commendation during the inaugural zonal meeting of the All Progressive Congress Party South East at the APC Zonal Secretariat Independence Layout Enugu.

According to him, “Compare Abia State that PDP is controlling, compare Ebonyi to Enugu where PDP is ruling. Our people are seeing the development and infrastructural projects that PDP and APC governments have put on the ground. The PDP has done woefully.”

In Enugu State, what is regarded as infrastructure is billboards of happy birthday and grabbing of lands.

“There is no development you can count for, you can see the flyover that was done yesterday is already breaking, it means a sign of sinking, that is the only flyover we have in Enugu State. There is no other flyover. Go to Ebonyi and Imo State see where they are playing with roads. The Governor of Imo State is 2 years in office, see where he is playing with roads”.

“They will tell you Enugu is in the hands of God. We did not tell God to come and develop Enugu. We elected a Governor to come and develop Enugu and that is his work. God gave him the ability and leadership to do his job,” he said.
