Deadly explosion occurred this morning along Aba Road, by Court Road, in Sabon Gari area of Kano, the Kano State capital.
The explosion occurred near a private school with parents hurrying to pick up their children and wards from the area cordoned by security operatives.
Many schools have been shut down across Kano State capital following this morning lethal explosion in Sabon Gari area of the city.
Meanwhile, rescue operation is ongoing at the building affected by the explosion with the State Commissioner of Police and Commander of 3 Brigade of the Nigerian Army on ground.
