The Federal Government has appointed Mr. Anamekwe Chukwunyere Nwabuoku, as acting accountant general of the federation.
This appointment is conveyed in a letter dated May 20, 2022, and signed by
Aliyu Ahmed, Permanent Secretarty, Federal Ministry of Finance. Budget and National Planning.
Mr. Nwabuoku is expected to carry out his duties in strict compliance with extant rules and observe the highest of sense of professionalism.
His appointment follows the suspension of of Ahmed Idris, over alleged misappropriation of N80 billion.
