Two chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu state. allegedly snatched ballot boxes in their respective polling booths during today’s governorship and house of assembly elections.
A source close to SummitNews said the two men involved in electoral malpractice were Chief Ikeje Asogwa, director general, PDP campaign council, and Dr. Patrick Asadu.
According to the source. the duo committed the alleged electoral offences when it dawned on them the Labour Party had defeated their candidates in the two booths.
While Asogwa snatched the ballot box in his Iheaka polling unit, Asadu did same in his Ovoko polling unit.
At the time of going to press, soldiers and police men attached to the area were still pursuing them to recover the stolen ballot box
