The book, ‘Jerusalem in Your Hands for All Christians’ written by a prolific writer and seasoned journalist Nze Sam Nwanze, has been presented to His Royal Majesty Igwe Dr. Egbo Nwoye, the Obioha II of Amurri Ancient Kingdom in his place at Amurri Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu state.
The brief but impressive ceremony held on Sunday, April 16, which attracted some members of Igwe’s cabinet, community leaders and a clergy, was a mark of honour to the Igwe by one of his subjects Nze Sam Nwanze, who is also Igwe’s adviser on Media and Communications.
“It is my own humble way to show respect to my Igwe who has been supporting me in my writing and journalism career both morally and financially for many years now”, said the author.
He also said he decided to present the book to his Royal Father before the official unveiling in Abuja.
On his response, Igwe Dr Nwoye praised the author for his achievements on literary issues as the book is the third by Nwanze. He prayed for the success of the book both in Nigeria and other parts of the Christian world.
” You will reap the fruits of your labour ” Igwe prayed and told the author to continue his good works.
The clergy man who graced the occasion Very Revd. E Ogbonna who is the Presbyter of the Trinity Methodist Church Enugu, also prayed for the author, asking God to grant him success through the book and other endeavors.
The book which was published in United Kingdom late last year was recently published in Nigeria by NIO Resources Ltd.
It is an account of the holy sites in Israel which Christians from different parts of the world go to see on pilgrimage every year and other interesting revelations which could help Christians understand and appreciate their faith more
