Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah, and the Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, CP Kanayo Uzoegbu, on Tuesday decorated 5 newly promoted police officers serving in the Government House with their new ranks.
The officers who were all promoted from the rank of Inspector to Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) are Agbabi Sunday, George Christopher, Ogbonna Anthony, John Sunday, and Adekunle Yasere Ayo.
Governor Mbah later tweeted from his handle @PNMbah: “I was delighted to share in their happiness at reaching the milestone. I exhorted them to carry on serving with a sense of responsibility, commitment, and equity for everyone.
“The police will continue to receive assistance from my government and the resources they need to fight crime.
“Once again, congratulations!
