The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has declared Governor Ademola Adeleke winner of the Osun State governorship election.
Adeleke, who ran on the platform of the Accord Party, polled 511,067 votes to beat his closest challenger, Bola Oyebamiji of the APC, who scored 444,815 votes.
Candidate of the ADC, Najeem Salaam, finished third with 17,180 votes.
The final result was announced on Sunday after votes from all 30 Local Government Areas of the state were collated.
