The ONELGA council boss urged youths in the area to emulate Nwabali’s rise to stardom, and subsequently announced a ₦5m reward to the Super Eagles goalkeeper for his heroic performance during the just concluded football tournament.

He also named a street after him at Omoku, the local government headquarters.

Also, the traditional ruler of Mgbede community in Egbema Kingdom (Nwabali’s community), HRM Nzeobi Evaristus Amida conferred on Stanley Nwabali, the traditional title; ‘Ugo Egbema,’ “The Pride of Egbema Kingdom”

Nzeobi Evaristus Amuda, who is the chairman ONELGA council of chiefs, said the title conferred on Nwabali was in recognition of the honour he brought to Egbema Kingdom and ONELGA following his performance during the competition.
