Muslim group under the aegis of the South-East Muslim Community Forum (SEMCOF), Ebonyi Chapter has felicited with Nigerians and especially the Islamic faithful for successful completion of the 2024 Ramadan Fast.
This is contained in a press release by Dr Isiaka Salmon, the group’s Board of Trustees (BoT) secretary-general , a copy was obtained by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Abakaliki.
According to the release, the forum urges the Muslims to continue to showcase and practise all the lessons learnt during the month of Ramadan.
The gorum in the message of felicitations further enjoined the Muslims to continue to reach out to the less privileged in their respective communities and to maintain peaceful co-existence with people of other faiths.
The forum while urging the Muslim faithful to maintain all the lessons learnt during the Ramadan called on the faithful to show devotion to Allah and love to their fellow humans especially those from other faiths.
The statement partly read: “The South East Muslim Community Forum (SEMCOF), under the leadership of Sheikh Dr. Haroun Ajah, FCRSA felicitates the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of Ramadan and this year Eid-il-Fitr ((1445 Eid-il Fitr) celebration .
“Practice the lessons which include increased faith; sincerity, total devotion, patience, closeness to Allah, commitment, gratitude, compassion, self-reflection, kindness to all among others.
“By doing so, the world will be a better place for all.
“We also urge all Nigerians to keep on their prayers and support for President Bola Tinubu’s administration in all his tireless efforts to transform Nigeria and it’s economy back to full prosperity in Shaa Allah.”
The group in the statement offered prayers to Allah for peace and development of Nigeria and to ease all the affairs of the Ummah around the world.
