He said: “Gentlemen of the press, this press briefing is to inform the public and especially the sons and daughters of Ishiagu living at home and abroad that the leadership and stakeholders of community paid a courtesy/solidarity visit to our dear governor, His Excellency , Gov. Francis Nwifuru.

“The visit afforded the community an opportunity to express her profound gratitude to the governor for the many life-touching projects including human capital development he has carried out in less down one year in office.

“We also thanked His Excellency for appointing nine of our sons into his cabinet and for executing several infrastructural projects in Ishiagu.

“The governor has graciously approved and released a complete fund for the completion of Ivo Water Scheme with completion date fixed for November.

“The governor also approved the issuance of Certificate-of-Occupancy (C-of-O) for the newly acquired site for the Ishiagu Ultra Modern Market.
