Obi/Akpor LGA CTC Chairman Solicits Supports For Obio/Akpor CTC, Gov. Fubara.- From-Chukwudi Ejimofor, Port Harcourt

 

Slashed 50% of All Revenue In The LGA..

The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Obio/Akpor local government area in Rivers State Comrade (Amb) Chijioke Ihunwo has call on the people of Obio/Akpor local government area and the state to continue to lend their supports to the CareTaker Committee and that of his Excellency Sir. Amaopu Joesph Siminilaye Fubara DSSRS, the governor of Rivers State.

Ambassador Ihunwo made the call while addressing large crowd during his official sensitization visit to the Iron Rod Dealers Association, Kala Bus-stop, Ikwerre Road, Port Harcourt.

He said “I charge to continue to work with Gov. Siminilaye Fubara because it is God that sent him. Let me assure all of you that the support your are giving to the governor will not be taken for granted, because the governor is a man that has conscience, the governor is the man that love the Igbos, the Yorubas, in fact all the none indigenes in Rivers state. We are assuring you, if you are supporting Gov Fubara, go home and sleep nothing is happening. If you have any issues that borders you as individuals or union within the local government area or in the state, come to us, we are going to solve them for you”.

He also announced the slash of fifty percent of all revenue payable to the Obio/Akpor local government area and promised to protect the union or individuals that is development any landed property in the local government area.

“We have slashed 50% of all the local government revenue in Obio/Akpor local government area and in your business area, if you have any group that is disturbing call us we shall call them to order”.

If you are developing any land in the local government, if you’re charged with higher levy, call us, we are going to bring it low for you because you people are parts and parcel of us, we are people oriented. Our administration is very open to all, call me on phone, if you can’t reach me, call my Special Assistant, we will solve the problem immediately”.

While soliciting for their prayers for the governor to overcome the present political crisis in the state, he reminded them to be careful of intruders.

“Because we have people that are hanging in the fence, wants to jump in. You people should be careful of them. Because, we are in you place today, they will come tomorrow to make troubles, be rest assured we are going to protect all of you”.

We need your prayers for His Excellency Sir. Siminilaye Fubara DSSRS, the governor of Rivers State to succeed. He is the governor that has conscience he is a God fearing man who always maintains peace; because we are maintaining peace, we need also to protect ourselves, because these other people that doesn’t have conscience”.

Comrade Amb Chijioke Ihunwo (standing) addressing the crowd during the event.

“Before I conclude let me remind you that there people that are making noise in the state, those former House of Assembly members; those people are forgotten issues, they have gone. I want you to continue to carry campaigns against them. They did not know when they relieved themselves the member status of state House of Assembly. “Their Game don Cut” today they are not House of Assembly members again, they are crying about. We only have one speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Victor Okoh-Jumbo.”

Hon. Ihunwo thanked the giving them audience to address them, he said “Thank you all for honouring to host us. I officially bring this message from our governor and our leader in the state; we don’t have two governors in the state. We have one governor, his name is His Excellency Siminilaye Joesph Fubara Fubara”.

Responding the chairman of Iron Rod Dealer Association, Kala Bus-stop, Ikwerre Road, Port Comrade Geoffrey Ifediorah formally welcomed him and his entourage for the sensitization visit to their union, promised to support the caretaker committee and Governor Siminilaye Fubara’s administration in the state.

“The Caretaker Committee Chairman you and your entourage you are welcome. Now, am relaxed because when your Special Advice told me that you are coming to visit us he didn’t tell me the reasons of your visit. Now we understand what is happening, we are going to support your administration. Our own here is to support good governance”.

“Since you administration begins we have seen signs of good leadership from this government. Therefore it’s our responsibility for us to support the good governance of the state. We believe that all will be achieved. Thank you once again for coming”. Comr. Ifediorah concluded.
