Dr. Otti condoles Dr. Uzoka Anite
Abia State Governor Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, on December 6, attended the burial ceremony of Late Mrs. Victoria Immaculate Okwunwa Uzoka, Mother of Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, CFA, Honourable Minister of State, Federal Ministry of Finance.
Governor Otti headed to Orsu-Obodo Oguta LGA, Imo State for the burial after attending the 19th -21st Combined Convocation Ceremony Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic, Aba (formerly Abia State Polytechnic, Aba) where he performed the foundation laying of the perimeter fencing of the intended new site of Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic in Osisioma LGA, commissioned the newly renovated Rector’s lodge abandoned to ruins by the previous administration, commissioned the newly reconstructed DOOPOLY Gate, commissioned the newly renovated Administrative building of the State polytechnic among other projects executed by the management of the polytechnic, under his administration.
In his tribute to the family, Governor Otti expressed a deep sense of personal loss hearing the news of her death at the age of 72 and wished that she lived longer.
He urged the family to find comfort in the fact that she lived a life worthy of emulation and touched the lives of many positively.
He prayed God to grant her soul eternal repose.
