Abia State Governor His Excellency Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, today, December 19, joined the Catholic faithfuls of the Catholic Diocese of Umuahia, friends and well-wishers to celebrate with the Catholic Bishop of Umuahia Diocese, Most Rev. Michael Kalu Ukpong as he celebrated his 60th birthday.

A statement by Citizen Ukoha Njoku Ukoha, Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to Gov Otti, states that Governor Otti congratulated Most Rev. Ukpong on his 60th birthday celebration and prayed to God to grant him many more years of celebrations up to 70, 80, 90, and 100 years.

The Governor thanked the Bishop for his support, which he said started even before the elections after interacting with him and other candidates who aspired for the Governorship of the State.

Earlier in his speech, the celebrant, Most Rev. Michael Kalu Ukpong, thanked Governor Otti for identifying and celebrating with him. He commended Governor Otti for the good works he is doing across the State, telling him that he is “Doing Well”.
