Gov Otti with Dr. Nwapa
Abia state Governor Dr. Alex Otti (OFR) today Thursday, joined the family of Dr. Adobi Nwapa, Executive Director Zenith Bank PLC, to pay his last respect to their late father, Ajie Ogbuagu Sir Christopher Ijoma Nwapa, who was laid to rest in his hometown of Abatu, in Oguta LGA, Imo State.
In his condolence message to the family, Governor Otti said that he received the news of the demise of the Late Sir Ijoma Nwapa with a sense of loss.
He encouraged the family to be comforted by the fact that he lived a long and fulfilled life and led his people with dignity and honor before going to be with the Lord at the age of 91.
The burial ceremony attracted Very Important Personalities from all walks of life including the Governor of Imo State, Sen. Hope Uzodimma, CON, Dame (Dr.) Adaora Umeoji, OON, the Group Managing Director/CEO of Zenith Bank Plc and many others.
