Edwin Clark, former Federal Commissioner for Information and prominent statesman, has died at the age of 97.
In a statement released by his family, it was announced that the leader of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF) passed away on Monday night, February 17, 2025.
The statement read, “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, regrets to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON. The family appreciates your prayers during this time, with more details to be provided later.”
His passing comes shortly after the death of fellow nationalist Ayo Adebanjo, who was 95.
