The Concerned Youth Stakeholders Forum of the Nigeria Democratic Congress is pleased to announce a major resolution for youth participation in the party.
Following a strategic meeting of the CONCERNED YOUTH STAKEHOLDERS held at Kalson Hotel, Garki, Abuja, the Forum resolved to formally request a 50% discount on nomination forms for youth aspirants within age 18-40years contesting under the platform of the Nigeria Democratic Congress.
After the meeting, the Forum’s leadership engaged the National Leaders of the party. We are grateful to H.E. Peter Obi and H.E. Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso for granting us audience and receiving our report at the residence of the National Leader.
The request was presented, considered, and adopted. The 50% discount for youth aspirants will be reflected in the official party communique to be released shortly.
Rtn. Emeka Luis Okoro, National Secretary of the CONCERNED YOUTH STAKEHOLDERS FORUM , alongside the National Lead of the Forum Hon. Zakari Garba Zakari, led the 36 State Representatives to meet with the National Leader of the party.
We confirm that, by this engagement, all youth aspirants contesting elections under the Nigeria Democratic Congress shall benefit from a 50% discount on all nomination forms as agreed in the closed-door meeting with the National Leader and H.E. Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso.
This development is a significant step toward expanding youth inclusion, reducing barriers to participation, and strengthening the future of the party.
