2027: Ogah Dismisses Placeholder Rumors, Says NDC will Deliver in Abia State

The Abia State Gubernatorial Candidate Hopeful of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Chief Ndubuisi Etugo Ogah, says he is not a placeholder for any individual or political party.

In a statement released today in Umuahia, Chief Ogah said he remains the authentic governorship standard-bearer of the NDC for the 2027 general elections in Abia State.

He described rumors labeling him a placeholder as false and the handiwork of disgruntled elements afraid of defeat in next year’s elections.

Chief Ogah said his decision to contest is based on service to the people, and a commitment to drive socio-economic growth, industrialization, job creation, and infrastructural development across all 17 Local Government Areas of Abia State.

He promised that an NDC government under his leadership will strengthen democratic institutions, improve education, healthcare, and security, and deliver dividends of democracy to every doorstep in Abia.

Chief Ogah called on NDC members to note that party is Supreme, also appeal on supporters, and all Abians to remain steadfast and give the party their maximum support to win the majority of elective seats in 2027.

Signed:

Chief Ndubuisi Etugo Ogah

NDC Gubernatorial Candidate, Abia State.
