THE FIRST 1OO DAYS: HON. CHUKA EZENWUNE’S ROADMAP TO SALVAGE IDEMILI -BY NNADI CHUKWUBUZO

IF one does not plan to succeed, he or she has planned to fail. This is one of the effective and active working mantra of Hon. Chuka Ezenwune.

He has even before he was approached by the people of Idemili North and South to come and salvage the federal legislative mess as displayed by the staus quo. Hon. Chuka has articulated his goals and targets in details because he has navigated a similar track successfully before now.

 He is not just coming with just promises, but with a precise, time-bound SWART plan to dismantle the failed status quo with a starting well thought out strategy of 100-Day Salvage Roadmap designed to show the electorates that he will hit the road running.

The first 100-Day Salvage Roadmap of Hon. Chuka Ezenwune emphasizes immediate visibility, accessibility, and the legislative awareness that has been missing.

Only a sincere and serious minded Representative of a people can be that prepared with very clear work plan and expected outcomes and key performance indicators at least for the first 100 days in office.

These are  clear signs that Ho. Ezenwune is not only ready for the assignment but very committed to it with his team.

Hon. Ezenwune did not assemble a campaign team to rabble rouse the citizens and get their vote, he first established a powerful team of well experienced leadership experts to brainstorm and design his strategy and methodology.

The Salvage Mission is not a four-year dream; Hon Ezenwune has concretely planned this strategy to kick-off from Day One.

Ezenwune’s commitment to a Service to the People agenda is designed to delivers immediate, tangible changes to the representation of Idemili North and South. This plan is segmented into the following phases:

Phase 1: Restoring the Voice (Day 1 – 30)

Establishment of the Idemili Open-Door Offices: Within 30 days, fully functional constituency headquarters will be opened in both Idemili North and South. These will not be “political hideouts” but resource centers staffed by professionals to receive complaints, suggestions, and project requests.
The Maiden Motion: Hon. Chuka will move his first motion on the floor of the House, specifically addressing a critical federal infrastructure gap in Idemili. The planned maiden bills include – activated erosion control bill urban markets-safety bill etc.
This is targeted at ending the era of legislative silence of the staus quo.
Town Hall Salvage Tour: A series of grassroots meetings across all the towns and wards from Ogidi, Obosi, Nkpor,Umuoji, Ojoto, Nnobi, Awka Etiti, Nnokwa, Alor, Oraukwu, Abatete, Akwukwu, Oba, Uke and Ideani to personally thank the voters and gather real-time data for the first round of constituency projects.

Phase 2: Fixing the Foundation (Day 31 – 60)

The Idemili Needs Assessment Audit: Launching a comprehensive audit of all abandoned or failed federal projects in the constituency. This report will be made public and used to demand immediate federal attention and funding.
Legislative Advocacy for Trade and Commerce: Introduction of a private member bill aimed at protecting the interests of local entrepreneurs and artisans. This shall form the backbone of the Idemili economy to ease the burden of doing business.
This is with full realization that Idemili North and South has grown over the years to become the host locations for commodity markets and commerce.
Launch of the Service to the People Digital Hub: A mobile-friendly portal where every constituent can track Hon. Chuka’s attendance, voting record, and the progress of constituency projects in real-time.

Phase 3: The First Fruits of Progress (Day 61 – 90)

Kick-off of the “Idemili Skills Lab: Initiation of the first wave of sustainable empowerment initiative of business incubation and not handouts practice of the status quo.
This project is designed to initiate a certified vocational training and tech-up skilling for 200 youths across the constituency.Hon. Chuka Ezenwune’s development initiatives shall teach ouch our people how to fish.
Mobile Health Intervention: Deployment of the first Hon. Chuka Medical Outreach, targeting the elderly and vulnerable in our rural wards that have been neglected by the current healthcare deficit.
Stakeholder Consultative Council: Inauguration of a non-partisan council of traditional rulers, community leaders, and youth heads to advise on the allocation of the first batch of Constituency Project Funds. From experience of Hon. Chuka Ezenwune at the Anambra State House of Assembly, he will replicate this gesture of expanded stakeholder forum to accommodate the Constituency. This forum shall become the think-tank body that supply development and project needs analysis data from time to time for effective and rapid attention from the Green Chamber.

Phase 4: Accountability & Review (Day 91 – 100)

The 100-Day Accountability Report: A televised and live-streamed town hall or live physical event where Hon. Chuka will present his scorecards for the first 100 days, proving that he has done more in three months than the status quo did in years.
Announcement of Year One Project Cycle: Based on the audits and town hall feedback, a definitive list of infrastructure projects to be tackled in the first fiscal year will be published.

The Pledge Hon. Chuka Ezenwune (Ifeabata Idemili) solemnly makes the following commitment and delivers the attached charter of service to the good people of Idemili North and South Federal Constituency. He declares and we quote him as follows:
