UN World Congress Diplomats Holds Global Engagement Seminar – From Chukwudi Ejimofor/Port Harcourt

 

Thursday 16th July, 2026 was the day, Golden Tulip Hotel Mummy B Junction Stadium Road Port Harcourt was the venue, and the time was 10 am when the United Nations World Congress Diplomats (UN-WCD) had their enlightenment and engagement seminar.

The purpose of the seminar was to enlighten new global Diplomats on the UN-WCD as an entity, the structure and goal obligations. To equip members with UN protocols, diplomatic etiquette and standards of representation, and presentation of certificates, diplomatic Passport and other paraphernalia to inductees.

In a chat with Summitnews at the sideline of the event, the host, the international Mayor of Peace, the UN-WCD Head of diplomacy and diplomatic affairs, Amb. Dr. Larry-Goodwill Akintoba Ajiola said “The essence of  today’s even is to have an engagement between all of us. Global Diplomats are the people in the community in the society, they need to understand who they are so that the do well in the societies where they find themselves and to also show them the etiquette of how to behave well”.

“We also have a youth wing of UN-WCD, which is global youth Diplomats forum (GYDF). We have already started reaching out cooperate organizations in Rivers state to make sure they benefit from our privileges and opportunities, this is what we are going to discuss with the Governor of Rivers state when we meet him so that the state can be carried along. The watch word for our inductees is they should have integrity for them to make sacrifices”.

Some of the inductees in a chat with Summitnews expressing delight for honour done them and promised to utilize the opportunity for the betterment of humanity.

Bishop Dr. Mrs Fidelia Onyemike Omenaebele the General Overseer Peculiar Believers Assembly Kwale Delta state said “The award is shocking to me because I wasn’t expecting it in this way. I came for our induction, but I saw plenty awards. Though they knew me and what I am doing. By God’s special grace I have affected women’s life. This award has raised my ego and I even wanting to more and I will add to my efforts now knowing that God and people recognized what I am doing. So I commend what this organization is doing”.

Uchenna John of Kingdom Wealth Assembly Port Harcourt while responding to newsmen said “We give glory to God for the honor bestow on us today. UN-WCD is essentially preaching the message on global peace, we can’t achieve global without national peace, national peace is not possible until you have peace in the home front”.Today we are part of this because we are children of God. We have the God that is interested in peace of his people. Jesus is called the Prince of peace, and we who are followers of Christ we have the mandate to preach this gospel of peace to the world. To sale or give peace you most be a person of peace yourselves. Peace is about humanitarian service, love and given, and these are what we represent. We are so grateful for the honour”. Uchenna John concluded.

The seminar featured awards of certificates presentation medals, UN-WCD Passport and question and answer session. Lots of refreshments was available for all the participants.

The global and engagement seminar attracted Global Youth Diplomats forum (GYDF) United World Congress of Diplomats (UN-WCD) and leaders of thought in the society.
