A Political Support Group,the ‘Ndi Edem Like Minds,” has thrown it’s weight behind Dr. Hilary Onyishi, Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) House of Representative candidate for Nsukka/Igboeze South Federal constituency in the upcoming 2027 general elections
At a strategic consultative meeting convened on Sunday by Dr. Onyishi in Enugu, and attended by members of the ‘Ndi Edem Like-Minds,’ residing in Enugu state, the group expressed their full support for the political aspiration of Dr. Onyishi, who also hails from Edem in Nsukka/Igboeze Federal Constituency.
“The gathering, held in a warm and cordial atmosphere, brought together key stakeholders, community leaders, and grassroots mobilizers of the Ndi Edem Like-Minds Enugu platform for an extensive discussion on the way forward for the constituency and the broader political landscape as the nation approaches the 2027 General Election.
“During the interactive session, participants deliberated extensively on strategies to strengthen unity, deepen grassroots mobilisation, and consolidate the political structures required to achieve victory at the polls.
“The meeting also provided an important platform for members to reaffirm their shared commitment to good governance, inclusive representation, responsible leadership, and sustainable development for the people of Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South Federal Constituency and Enugu State at large.
+In a strong demonstration of solidarity, members of Ndi Edem Like-Minds based in Enugu State expressed their support for Hon. Dr. Hilary Onyishi’s political aspiration ahead of the 2027 General Election.
*Members pledged their collective commitment to working closely with the candidate and other stakeholders toward building a united grassroots movement capable of securing a decisive electoral victory.
The convener Hon. Celestine Chisa, the Chairman Dr. Nnayereugo Onah, and the leadership of the group commended Hon. Dr. Onyishi for his consistent engagement with the people and his commitment to listening to the yearnings and aspirations of the grassroots.
They described his candidacy as one anchored on integrity, service, vision, and a genuine desire to contribute meaningfully to the development and progress of the constituency.
