The Governors of the South East zone said they are making plans to visit President Bola Tinubu over pressing issues concerning the zone.
They also said the issue relating to the incarceration of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu should be part of their mission to President Tinubu.

The Governor of Imo state. Chief Hope Uzodinma, who is the current Chairman of the South East Governors forum dropped this hints as part of the decisions reached at their meeting held at Enugu state government house,on Tuesday, July 2.
In the communique read before news men, Governor Uzodinma said the meeting also resolved to act on the resolutions of the South East Economic Forum reached during their meeting at Owerri, for even development of the zone.
The South East Governors commiserated with the family of the late chief Ogbonnaya Onu and announced a former senate president, Chief Anyim Pius and Chief Rotimi Amaechi as chairman and secretary of his burial committee.

The meeting welcomed special delegations from former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Chief Emeka Anyaoku and Igwe Alfred Achebe their meeting.
The meeting which lasted for over five hours was attended by all the five South East Governors.
