The Presiding Bishop of Peculiar Believers Assembly Kwale, Bishop Fidelia Oyemike, says the upcoming Christian Prayer Camp Meeting, and 2026 Annual Convention, is aimed at uniting women, single mothers, widows, as well as train young sisters to be good wives to their husbands and to have good homes
The 5-day event billed to start on August 17 and end on August 21, is being organized under the auspices of the Favoured Daughters Outreach International Ndokwa Christian Women Intercessory Fellowship
Speaking with Summitnews on the preparation and prospects of the 5-day programme, Bishop Oyemike said: “The aim of the programme is to preach the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to participants, unite women, use the opportunities to bring out the single mothers, widows, young sisters train them to be good wives to their husbands and have good homes.”
According to Bishop Oyemike, the theme of the convention is Oil of Grace— The Oil of Gladness Above Thy Fellows, Psalm 45 vs 7.
The venue is Peculiar Believers Assembly, Aka Great Peoples Chapel, By Emma-Opia Avenue, off Afie-Eze Road, Kwale, Delta state.
The Woman if God further said the youth session will come up on the 17th and 18th August, while the Adult session and the opening ceremony is on the 19th to 21st August.
In partnership with the Holy Spirit are the hosts Bishop Dr. & Bishop (Amb) Dr. Mrs. Fidelia Emmanuel Oyemike.
The guest speakers are Prophetess Dr. Mr. Vivian Nwachukwu, Apostle Victor Oyemike from Asaba and Pastor Victor Eloho from Ozoro.
Elaborating further on the essence of prayer camp meeting Bishop Oyemike said “it’s to retrieve women especially the younger people from the social vices that is scattering their destinies. Giving them opportunities for healing deliverance. And there will be free accommodations, food, medical care and financial empowerment.
Bishop Amb. Dr. Mrs Fidelia Onyemike, who in recognition of her numerous humanitarian gestures in the society was recently inducted as a Global Diplomat of United Nations World Congress Diplomats by the UN-WCD, said: “it is to support and give the women courage to have a good life. Give them the atmosphere to be happy, unite together, make them to leave in peace with one another not minding their religious denomination.”
According to her, the Church h is sourcing funds to actualize the laudable programme.
“We are still struggling with finances to make sure the aim of the programme is achieved, but God’s plans for the programme will surely manifest on His people” Bishop Fidelia Oyemike concluded.
