Senator Magnus Abe’s friends, supporters and associates organized a stakeholders meeting at the instance of Distinguish Senator Magnus Abe at Freedom House, Evo Road GRA phase 3, Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
Speaking to Journalists at the sideline of the event, High Chief Joesph Ijedi, chairman Non-indigene forum, Rivers state chapter, an associate to Distinguish Senator Magnus Abe said “The decision Senator Magus took to come back to APC is the best decision, to reconcile with the FCT Minster, Chief Nyesom Wike and Tony Okocha is the best decision so far, because they have been together and they should continue to be together. They will continue to support President Tinubu and work together for the success of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Rivers state.
The position of Non-indigene forum in Rivers state is that they should reconcile themselves. And we are in support of Senator Magnus Abe, Tony Okocha and Nyesom Wike”.
Elaborating further on the political problem between the sitting governor, Sir, Siminilaye Fubara and his predecessor, FCT Minster, Chief Nyesom Wike; Chief Ijedi said “The political disagreement between the sitting governor, Sir Siminilaye Fubara, just what our principal Senator Magnus Abe always say, these things could be worked out, there is no problem there. It’s a matter of time all these issues will work out, I don’t see any problem there”. Chief Ijedi stressed.
Also speaking, Alhaji Aliyu Yerima, Chairman Northern Alliance Committee under Non-indigenes forum said; “As far as the Northern Alliance Committee is concern we are supporter of Senator Magnus Abe for sometime now.
For what happened here today we know that Senator Magnus Abe was an APC man. The first time we visited him with a latter written from APC national secretariat Abuja, he was in SDP, we decided to work with him then.
Senator Magnus Abe’s political carrier is very clean and he is know for that in Rivers state. He is not the political leader you can dance with.
And, no matter what you do in Rivers state, Nyesom Wike, the present FCT Minster is the political father in the state, because he is the one at the national level, Tony Okocha the APC chairman in the state is our Boss and Northern Alliance Committee is solidly behind them in the state”.
On his part, the Concerned Igbo Citizens leader Chief O.Z. Ubah expressed their unflinching support for Senator Magnus Abe’s political movement.
“We the entire Igbo Concerned Citizens are supporting our Principal Senator Magnus Ngie Abe (Dịke Ọra Mma Ndị-Ịgbo) his decision to return to APC and make peace with FCT Minister Chief Nysom Wike and Chief Tony Okocha Caretaker Chairman APC Rivers State, for the progress of Rivers State and dear President Asiwaju Tinubu.
