Suspected gunmen have abducted Mrs. Blessing Adagba, the Coordinator of Ngbo Central Development Centre in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Joshua Ukandu, confirmed the incident on Friday in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital.
SP Ukandu said the incident occurred in the area, in the early hours of Thursday and noted that officers of the state’s police command were already on top of the matter.
According to him, “the Anti-Kidnapping Squad has already moved for the rescue of the victim, Adagba. I believe they are working hard to secure her immediate release.”
He explained that Mrs Adagba was abducted at the Okposhi Eheku community of Ohaukwu local Government Area of the state, adding that his command will leave no stone unturned, in ensuring that the abductors were brought to book.
